What you'll do

Visit Osaka, Japan’s famous culinary capital for a unique food adventure
Join Katsuji, a local expert with over 30 years of experience in the food industry and learn the rich cultural heritage of Japan’s culinary world. Visit an authentic tearoom and experience a real tea ceremony in Katsuji’s own home. Relax in ancient Japanese style as you learn the ins and outs of the ceremony while enjoying hand-whisked matcha green tea. Then head to the kitchen and learn to make two Japanese classics: sushi and ramen. Use nothing but the best ingredients to make your dishes from scratch. Enjoy the food then take home a cultural souvenir, custom hand-drawn calligraphy made by Katsuji himself. This class requires a minimum booking of 2 persons. Single travelers are kindly requested to purchase 2 slots.

Pickup details

The class is held at home. 10mins walk from Shōnai Station in Osaka. You will receive a Google Maps link in your message or confirmation email after your booking is confirmed. Please make sure to check and confirm the meeting location.
