Exploring the Uffizi Gallery

Arrive up to two hours before your chosen time slot and begin your journey amidst masterpieces at the Uffizi Gallery. You can also choose to explore the Gallery of Statues and Paintings before your Vasari Corridor walk, since you won't be able to return afterwards.

Vasari Corridor

After you explore the Uffizi, head to the room D19 meeting point (Venetian small chapel) on the first floor at least five minutes before your scheduled tour. From here, you will access the historic Vasari Corridor. This unique passageway connects the Uffizi to the Pitti Palace and features ancient sculptures and a collection of Greek and Roman inscriptions. The windows along the route provide breathtaking panoramic views of Florence’s cityscape, including the Arno River, the Ponte Vecchio, and historic squares. Exit through the Buontalenti Grotto, where the corridor ends.

Begin your visit at the Uffizi Gallery and spend two hours exploring masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci.
Then, walk through the Vasari Corridor, a 1km secret passage connecting the Pitti Palace and Palazzo Vecchio.
Discover the fascinating history of the corridor, originally constructed for the safety of the Medici family and adorned with frescoed walls and sculptures.
