Saga’s local dishes to enjoy during your journey. “Saga Sea Bream Set – Iwai,” featuring seasonal ingredients from Saga and sea bream from the Genkai Sea, is the perfect “travel feast” for guests seeking an authentic yet compact Japanese dining experience. Each dish is carefully prepared with traditional Japanese culinary techniques. The first dish uses seasonal ingredients. And you will choose one of our three types of Tai-meshi(Sea Bream Rice) "Uwajima-style", "Tempura rice bowl", or "Donabe (traditional Japanese cray pot) rice" for the second dish” . The dishes are beautifully presented using Arita and Karatsu ware, allowing guests to experience Japanese culture through food, tableware, and hospitality. It’s ideal for lunch between or before sightseeing activities. [Groups of 10 or more guests] We will serve sea bream sashimi. The second dish will not be selectable. Sea bream rice cooked in a large Donabe pot will be prepared for the group. Duration: Approximately 40-60 minutes.

And for the second dish, you can choose one type of sea bream rice from three varieties. A glass of Japanese sake from a Saga sake brewery is included as an aperitif. This is a standard menu filled with the charm of Saga’s local cuisine, and it is loved by guests from abroad.
