Kurume kasuri is a cotton textile, woven by dyed threads. To finish a roll (12 meters) of textile, it takes 2-3 months through a process of around 30 steps. After a tour of the workshop, where the various processes of thread binding, dyeing and weaving take place, visitors can actually experience the Kurume Kasuri process. Make your own original handkerchief with indigo dyeing.
