The tour will start from Hakone-Yumoto Station
This is the starting point for sightseeing in Hakone and is also the entrance to the Third New Tokyo City in the Evangelion film. This is also where Shinji and Misato, the main characters in the first episode of Evangelion, met. Your journey with Shinji also starts from this station.

This mountain railroad has often been damaged by apostate attacks. Gora is the location of the “Gora Absolute Defense Line” in the film, a strong defense line to NERV headquarters. You can imagine the location of the defense line from inside a mountain railroad or a cable car.
