Your Experience

The city feels different tonight, heavy, restless and alive with shadows, in this self-guided exploration game. An ancient order has called on you to join the hunt: armed with a device that detects the supernatural, find ten wandering spirits in the streets and alleys of central Birmingham, from Victoria Square past St Philip's Cathedral to Chamberlain Square, and expose the one plotting to unleash terror on the living.

Along the way you solve challenges in the Questo app, learn historical facts and local myths, and discover hidden spots that only locals know and most tourists pass by. The walk covers about 2 km and takes around 1.5 hours, with no time limit.

Can you find the evil ghost before it claims the city?

Explore Birmingham with a self-guided city game, accessible anytime in the Questo app.
Go at your own pace - no guides and no groups of strangers involved.
Search the streets and alleys for 10 restless spirits.
Follow clues and crack eerie riddles to piece together the fate of each ghost.
Decide which spirit is the true threat.
A chilling outdoor escape game for friends, couples or daring solo ghost hunters.
