The River Garry is one of our most popular white water rafting rivers. The Grade 3/4 conditions mean that you’ll experience some great rapids that will provide plenty of thrills as we paddle down the river together. The dam-release system that controls this river ensures that you get to experience consistent, high-water fun and big, bouncy rapids. This stretch of river is short, so we’ll run it twice in every trip to make sure that you maximise your experience with us. This also means that the rapids are in quick succession without long stretches of flat water. We tailor every trip to suit you and your groups needs so get in touch with us if you have any requests!

This self-guided Isle of Skye road trip is designed to help you understand how the island fits together, rather than leaving you to piece routes together yourself. The guide combines scenic driving routes, key viewpoints and practical touring structure so you can experience Skye’s landscapes without rushing. You’ll follow two connected touring loops covering the Trotternish Peninsula, the Cuillin mountains, the west coast and the quieter Sleat Peninsula — revealing how Skye’s cliffs, harbours, mountain passes and remote peninsulas link into one coherent journey. Each section includes clear route progression, narrative context and flexible time-based planning ideas, helping you decide what fits into a day, a short break or a longer island stay. Instead of a rigid itinerary, the guide provides a framework you can adapt around weather, walking plans and ferry connections.

River cruises, sailing, sunset boats, harbour tours

This cruise takes you on an adventure in to the wilderness. Starting in the busy Glenfinnan area where we describe all the sights and detail the history of the village both old and modern. We soon whisk you off down the loch to the land of eagles, deer, Harry Potter landmarks and the home of the MacDonalds of Glenaladale. Gaskan cottage was the home of well known naturalist Mike Tomkies for many years whilst he studied and wrote of the local wildlife, especially the eagles and wildcats there. It can only be accessed by boat or very long walk so this part of the loch is very serene and unspoilt. This cruise returns to Glenfinnan jetty.

Cruise through history and modern culture all at the same time! Harry Potter and historic monuments, you will learn about them both. Loch Shiel has featured in many films, Highlander in the 80s and now Harry Potter has brought it worldwide fame. This cruise can also be great for spotting Golden eagles up above the mountains, red deer on the hill sides and other water birds such as the Black Throated Diver (Loon). Glenaladale is a beautiful glen, secluded from the busy world. It is an area famous for being a home of the MacDonald clan, for centuries the MacDonalds worked the land and lived here but later were forced to leave for new starts further afield. The glen still attracts people visiting the home of their ancestors from all over the world. There is a toilet on board and a well stocked bar with malt whiskies as well as a good selection of wine, spirits, soft drinks, snacks and hot drinks. Please park at the main Glenfinnan car park and walk down to the jetty if possible.

For the River Wild adventurer who would like to ditch the watercraft entirely, canyoning is the adventure for you! There is no better way to see Scotland (in our opinion) than by having your feet in the water of a river canyon. Once into the canyon, you will follow the river downstream through various modes, ranging from scrambling on foot, sliding, jumping, or abseiling. Laggan Canyon (or Allt na h-Uamha canyon to use its official name!) offers a great selection of scrambles, slides, jumps and abseils on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. It’s a perfect environment for beginners and experienced canyoneers alike because there are several options of activity available during the descent.
