Afternoon Bath City Tour - Private tour from Bristol with a local guide

You will be collected from your hotel in Bristol and driven, by private vehicle, to the charming UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath. Your tour of Bath starts with a visit to your guides' favourite viewpoint to give you a great perspective of the city.

Your guide, who was born and grew up in Bath, will take you on a walking tour of the centre of Bath. You will be shown all of the city's famous landmarks and you will hear interesting stories about these and the city. You will also be shown the location of the city's hot springs - without these Bath would not be the city that it is today. Some of the places visited on the walking tour are listed below.

You will hear about the fascinating history behind the Bath Abbey.

You will hear about the Roman's impact on Bath and the famous Roman Baths. We do not go inside the Roman Baths Museum.

You will be shown the location of the city's hot springs and Bath's modern spa.

You will visit the beautiful Circus which has had a number of interesting residents.

You will also visit the magnificent Royal Crescent.

After your tour of Bath you will be driven back to Bristol. Depending upon traffic and the location of your hotel you should arrive around 7pm. If you would like to have dinner in Bath before returning to Bristol this is possible - please let Bath Insider Tours know in advance.
