Some visitors combine Kosovo with a quick run to Skopje and Ohrid, or venture north to Mitrovica for recent history context. Guided tours dominate here because the stories matter - whether it's a semi-private setup with a dedicated leader or a focused walking tour through Peja's old town. You can do Kosovo justice in 4-5 days, though many travellers compress it into 2-3 day chunks around other Balkan stops.
