Although the instructor does not speak English, a certified kimono dresser (your host) will be in the room to provide interpretation, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for all participants. In this 90‑minute lesson, you will learn traditional dance movements and practice a complete short piece. The dances taught—arranged by difficulty—include “Sakura Sakura,” “Haru yo Koi,” and “Togetsukyo.” All costumes (yukata), tabi socks, and dance props are provided. The session takes place at Hagijian, a traditional Japanese house with a serene atmosphere. No personal items are required, and up to six participants can join the lesson.
