The excursion to the south of the national park begins, covering the lakes Gutierrez and Mascardi. Here you detour to the Manso River, one of the most flowing rivers in the region, to skirt the Tronador arm of Lake Mascardi, where you stop at the Mirador de la Isla Corazón and continue to Pampa Linda, a beautiful valley surrounded by high peaks. Free time for lunch, then you reach the viewpoint of the Black Blizzard where you can see the millennial ices. Then continue the tour to the base of the hill almost to the border with Chile. The Cerro Tronador is the highest in the National Park with its 3554 m.a.s.l. and has seven beautiful glaciers at its summit. Free time for a short walk to a stream formed by meltwater. Back to town.
