Visit the reindeer camp and help feed a large herd of reindeer. Warm up with hot drinks around the fire and enjoy a relaxed 3-course dinner. Then, gather in a lavvu to hear stories about Sámi culture and life as a reindeer herder, accompanied by a traditional joik.
ITINERARY: - Meeting Point: 17:40 at the bus terminal at Tromsø Havn Prostneset - 30-35-minute drive to the reindeer camp - Feed the reindeer and explore the camp - Warm up with hot drinks (tea, coffee, and hot chocolate) around the fire inside a candle-lit lavvu (traditional Sámi tent) - Dinner featuring Bidos, a traditional Sámi stew, served with Sámi bread (Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available) - Chocolate cake and blueberry dessert - Listen to stories about Sami culture and history in the traditional lavvu - Back in the city at about 22:30
