Getting started

Begin with a scenic transfer from Tromso to the reindeer camp. On arrival, you receive warm clothing, including boot covers and snow suits, before heading into the snowy enclosure. After a brief introduction to the camp and animals, you start your reindeer feeding session.

Wrapping up

After your time feeding the reindeer, enjoying dinner, and watching for the Northern Lights, you board the return transport for the scenic journey back to Tromsø. If you select the reindeer sledding option, this activity takes place during your camp visit in addition to the standard feeding experience.

Spend time at a Sámi reindeer camp with your guide, listening to folk music and learning about Sámi life, as you step away from your routine.
Start in Tromso with a guide and ride a 45 to 60 minute scenic transfer to the reindeer camp, with travel and timing handled before the experience.
At the camp you join the herd, feeding reindeer by hand and moving among them while using the included boot covers and snow suits to stay outside.
