Available twice daily, this experience offers an introduction to sake brewing, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. Your visit begins with a guided walk through the brewery, where you will observe the production process through viewing windows while staff explain each stage, from rice preparation and steaming to fermentation, pressing, and maturation. Learn how Niigata’s pure water and brewing traditions contribute to the region’s renowned sake styles. The tour continues with a visit to Kikusui’s research laboratory. Participants then enjoy an exclusive tasting session featuring a curated selection of Kikusui sake, including limited and experimental brews. Compare aromas, textures, and flavor profiles while learning tasting techniques and discovering how brewing methods influence each sake.
