Jambiani Village Women at work and play

Your Jambiani walking tour includes: a visit to several women's homes, a visit to the beach to see the women collecting sea weed and learning about its cultivation. Watch the ladies making coconut rope and doormats (from the coconut husks collected on the beach), palm leaf and makuti weaving as well as traditional handmade kofia sewing. You will also have a demonstration of how to wear a kanga and experience henna painting. There is also an opportunity to have lunch (at extra cost) in one of the ladies' houses but we will need 48 hours notice to prepare this. We would also need to know if you have any dietary requirement.
