The trail climbs steadily through rugged terrain and open ridgelines, with changing views as you ascend, while your guide introduces scenic viewpoints and shares insights into the landscape and its cultural significance. At the summit, you will stand beside Amanosakahoko, a symbolic landmark connected to Japan’s mythological origins, with time to rest, take photos, and enjoy a Japanese-style onigiri lunch. After your break, you will descend at a comfortable pace, return to the trailhead, and head back by car, with drop-off at a convenient location for your onward travel.
