Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive inside the park with a professional safari guide. Explore the wildlife-rich plains of Mikumi and look for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and other African wildlife while enjoying photography opportunities.
Tanzania
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, when wildlife is most active. Look for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, and a variety of bird species while enjoying the beautiful landscapes. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast before transferring to Morogoro for the SGR train to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, transfer to the ferry terminal for your return journey to Zanzibar.
Travelers arriving from Zanzibar will meet our representative at Dar es Salaam Ferry Terminal. After arrival, we transfer to the SGR train station for the journey to Mikumi. Exact meeting instructions and contact details will be provided after booking.
