The Enoshima Iwaya, located in the southwest of the island, is a cave that was formed about 6,000 years ago by waves carving out rocks in the sea, and was shaped into its present form when an earthquake caused the entire island to rise! Enoshima is also said to have been once inhabited by dragons, and you can see the image of dragons in various places, such as shrines and rock houses. You can even hold a candle and walk through the caves, which will make you feel as if you are actually on an adventure. Note: There are many hills and stairs on this tour.
