Our Udawalawe 6-Hour Private Safari is designed to give travelers a true wildlife experience — not a rushed park visit. You’ll explore peaceful areas where large herds of elephants gather, away from the usual crowds.
Unlike shared tours, your safari is completely private, meaning you decide how long to stay at each sighting. Our local drivers know the park’s routes, animal habits, and best times for photos — they’ll guide you to perfect viewing spots safely and smoothly.
We handle everything — from park tickets to pickup and refreshments — so you can relax and enjoy nature. With flexible start times, comfortable jeeps, and genuine hospitality, this safari lets you see Udawalawe at its best.
After ticket arrangements, you’ll board a private 4x4 safari jeep driven by an experienced local guide. During the 6-hour safari, you’ll explore the park’s best wildlife zones where elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, peacocks, and many bird species gather. Your driver knows the animal movements and will stop at key viewing spots, giving you plenty of time for close-up photos and quiet observation. You’ll enjoy a smooth, scenic ride through open grasslands, forest areas, and near the Udawalawe reservoir — perfect for nature lovers and photographers. Bottled water and light snacks are provided. At the end of the safari, you’ll return to your hotel or the starting point with unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka’s wild side.
Free hotel pickup and drop-off are available within the Udawalawe area (around 4 km from the National Park).
Please share your hotel name or location when booking so we can confirm your exact pickup time.
If you’re staying outside the Udawalawe zone (e.g., Embilipitiya, Thanamalwila, or other towns), we can arrange transport for a small additional charge — please contact us after booking for a quote.
Travelers who prefer can also meet directly at Udawalawe National Park entrance gate.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
