• Transport is by round-trip transfers in a spacious, comfortable big bus or coach with free Wi-Fi and an onboard restroom, so you can relax, stay connected, and travel in comfort between Tromsø and the darker viewing areas.

• On the way, your guide shares insights about the region, the Northern Lights, and what to expect during the experience.

• Access is included to a scenic, private and safe Aurora Safari Camp, where you spend time under the night sky away from city lights, with optional further chasing by bus depending on the weather conditions that evening.

At the private Aurora Safari Camp, you step into a prepared Arctic base for watching the sky and photographing any Northern Lights that appear. The camp offers shelter, basic facilities, and equipment so you can stay focused on the experience outdoors.

Features

• Warm overalls are provided for use during your stay at the Aurora Safari Camp, helping you handle Arctic temperatures while you wait outside for potential auroral activity.

• Tripods are available for use at the Aurora Safari Camp, making it easier to capture long-exposure shots of the Northern Lights and stable portrait photos if the sky becomes active.

• Cold water, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, cookies, and other hot drinks and snacks are served at the private Aurora Camps, together with a light meal that keeps you comfortable during the long evening outside the city.

• Restroom facilities are available at the Aurora Safari Camp, giving you access to essential amenities throughout your time at the camp.

Photography experience

Photography is a key part of the evening, supported by both equipment at the camp and professional image capture by the team.

Features

• Professional photos are taken during the tour, with Northern Lights and portrait photos from the tour made available on the operator’s web page after your experience.

• With tripods for use during the stay at the Aurora Safari Camp and guidance from the team, you can work on composing your own shots while also knowing there will be professionally captured images to look back on.

• The tour involves active chasing of clear skies for the best viewing conditions, so if the aurora appears, both your guide and the photographers help you make the most of the display during the time available.
