What you'll do

Step into Japanese comic creation with the Manga Inking Workshop, a hands-on act
ivity where you recreate iconic scenes by hand. Perfect for beginners, expert staff will guide you step-by-step through using authentic tools favored by professional artists, including the traditional G-pen. Every seat features a video recording stand, allowing you to easily capture time-lapse footage of your drawing process for social media. Upon completion, your finished artwork will be placed in a display frame as a personalized keepsake. Note: The listed price is per person, and changing manuscripts mid-session is not permitted. As a souvenir, you may take home your G-pen, the session ink, and your framed work. Please note that entry with infants and toddlers may be declined. Participants aged 12 and under cannot join unaccompanied; an adult guardian must be present.

It's a 5 minute walk from Kichijoji Station. Exit the north exit, turn right along the railway tracks, cross the pedestrian crossing, go past the post office, and you'll find it on your right, under the railway overpass.
