What you'll do

Our fully guided sea kayaking tours explore the scenic coastline of Shioya and typically last about 2 hours
Tours run only during calm conditions for your safety and comfort. We use stable double kayaks that are easy to paddle, suitable for all levels including first-timers and elementary school students. We also have two single kayaks, allowing us to accommodate up to 12 adult guests per tour. Life jackets are provided for all, and non-swimmers are welcome. Our certified Kayak Instructors are insured and trained in First Aid, ensuring a professional and secure experience on the water. Launching from Shioya Beach, we paddle along dramatic cliffs and hidden coves, through waters few people ever get to see. We stop at a secluded beach for a swim in crystal-clear water. Along the way, you'll likely encounter sea urchins, starfish, vibrant seaweed, and seabirds soaring above this protected marine environment. More than just sightseeing, this tour is a chance to disconnect, slow down, and experience the raw beauty of Hokkaido’s coastline.
