What you'll do

We depart Siem Reap at 4:30am, collecting all guests from their hotels
If anyone doesn't yet have an Angkor Pass, we'll make a stop at the ticket office for a chance to buy one. Our first stop is Angkor Wat itself, the greatest temple in the world and the most famous sunrise on the planet! Our Khmer guide will take you through the corridors and terraces of this breathtaking place and give you an insight into what life in the Angkor Empire was like.

It's square, layered-pyramid shape makes it one of the more dramatic sites on the tour and climbing the terraces affords some beautiful views over the jungle.

The road takes us through the famous South Gate, lined with gods and demons locked in an eternal tug-of-war. The temple of Bayon at the centre of the site is lined with countless beatific carved faces, gazing eternally at the surrounding forest. Then we make our way to Bayon, with its 54 towers decorated with more than 200 enigmatic smiling faces.
