Staff will instruct you on helicopter safety before boarding the Robinson R44 helicopter for a flight over Resurrection Fjord past the blue ice face of Godwin Glacier to the sled dog base camp. Glacier base camp is where we discuss snowmobile safety and begin the snowmobile ride on the snowfields of Godwin Glacier. Snowmachining as Alaskans call it will take you 10+ miles around Godwin Glaciers snowfields. Free riding areas allow you to zip around at your own pace, then we are off to several overlooks of Day Harbor and the Pacific Ocean. Time permitting we can often visit with Alaskan sled dogs before our scenic return flight conditions permitting through the incredible 4th of July valley past several more glaciers back to Seward.
