Kazbegi or Stepantsminda is one of the most beautiful places in Georgia owing to very beautiful views on Mount Kazbegi. The tour includes visits to Ananuri Fortress, so called "Friendship Monument" which actually is an occupation one, Gergeti Trinity Church, Dariali gorge, Georgian-Russian border and the optional lunch stop.

Ananuri is a fortress on the way to Kazbegi and has beautiful views on Jhinvali reservoir
Two churches with very beautiful facades are located inside the fortress.

In case of demand it is possible to ride a ski lift and get on the other side of the gorge where the guide will pick the guests up and continue the road to Kazbegi.

It is located on the Cross Pass which connects two different gorges of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. The monument actually is the occupation one and you will get the additional information from the guide.
