Getting started

Check in at the designated departure point and prepare to head out by boat into the open ocean. After you meet your expert biologist guide, you receive a briefing on safety, equipment usage, and animal-friendly behavior. Once everyone has understood the plan, you get fitted with your snorkel, mask, neoprene wetsuit, life jacket, and raincoat before the boat leaves São Miguel.
