Our experience will create unique and unforgettable moments for our guests. The objective is to show a 3-course menu with drinks, where the products of our island and our plantation will be highlighted. Since we call for the use of "seasonal products" our menu will vary according to the same, always keeping "Madeira traditional Espetada" as the protagonist. (There are vegetarian options) Upon arrival, our guests will be welcomed with a "Welcome drink". The second moment will be a visit to our space and our agricultural production, where we will harvest some products that will be present on our menu. Then we start making our menu, where we want our guests to be an integral part of it, in order to make the whole process known and create bonds. After the tasting phase, our experience ends with a self-made digestive, typical of Madeira Island. To see some Reviews go to @recantofoodexperiences

Common questions about booking Madeira experiences through SimilarTours
Madeira stays pleasant year-round, but summer (June-September) offers the warmest water for kayaking and sailing, while winter brings fewer crowds. Check before you go on specific months for your chosen activity, as weather can shift quickly on the island.
Private charters and guided treks book up, especially in peak season. Aim for 2-4 weeks in advance if you're traveling June through September, though last-minute options often exist.
If you want flexibility on timing and the chance to explore Porto Santo or the south coast without fighting crowds, yes. Group sailing tours exist too, but private options let you set the pace and stops.
Most full-day sails include the boat, skipper, and often snorkeling gear. Check before you go on specifics like lunch, drinks, and how many people share the boat, since it varies by operator.
Absolutely. Local guides know which trails are passable that week, where to eat, and the actual history - not the tourist version. The 3-day island tours show how much depth you gain with someone who lives there.
Kayaking and catamaran trips work well for families, though check age and swimming ability requirements before booking. Private charters give you control over speed and stops, which helps with younger kids.
Most tours depart from Funchal or nearby coastal towns. Rental cars work, but narrow mountain roads aren't for everyone - consider arranging transport through your tour operator or using local taxis and buses.

Madeira is a year-round island playground where the Atlantic meets dramatic volcanic peaks. Most visitors split time between water-based adventures and land exploration - you'll find the booking calendar thick with private yacht charters, catamaran trips along the southern coast, and kayaking at spots like Ponta de São Lourenço. If you prefer solid ground, there's serious trekking, cultural tours through local villages, and multi-day island explorations with guides who actually know where to find the good stuff. The mix tells you something: Madeira works equally well for sailors and hikers.
