Polonnaruwa Heritage and Hurulu Eco Park Safari from Pasikuda

Polonnaruwa Ancient Kingdom is one of Sri Lanka’s most important UNESCO World Heritage Sites, known for its well-preserved ruins, royal palaces, ancient temples, stupas, stone carvings, and irrigation systems. Hurulu Eco Park is a popular wildlife reserve near Habarana, Sri Lanka, best known for elephant safaris. The park offers a natural dry-zone forest landscape with grasslands, scrub jungle, and water sources that attract wild elephants and other animals. It is a great alternative safari location when Minneriya or Kaudulla conditions are not suitable. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful jeep safari while spotting elephants, birds, deer, monkeys, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
