This 180-minute guided surf lesson begins with a friendly meet-up at Aoshima Beach, followed by a safety briefing and an assessment of the day’s ocean conditions. You’ll start with on-land instruction covering board handling, paddling techniques, and core surfing fundamentals before heading into the water for the first session, where you’ll practice catching waves with your instructor’s guidance. After this initial surf, the lesson pauses for a short break to drink water, rest, and review your progress. During this time, your instructor will share personalized feedback and tips to help you improve. In the second session, you’ll return to the ocean to apply what you’ve learned, building confidence and refining your technique in real conditions. We meet at the Aoshima Beach car park at the pre-arranged time agreed the day before. After assessing the ocean conditions, we head to the beach to begin the lesson.
