Exploring Lyon made easier with public transport

Unlimited access to Lyon’s metro, tram, bus, and funicular network is included with the card, helping you move easily between major districts, museums, riverbanks, and hilltop landmarks. Public transport remains valid throughout your selected pass duration, so you can travel across the city without purchasing separate tickets for each journey.

Seamless activation

• Your Lyon City Card activates the first time you use it at an included attraction or on public transport, not when you collect it. Once activated, the pass remains valid for the consecutive 24, 48, 72, or 96-hour option selected at booking. For example, if you activate a 48-hour card on Friday at 2pm, it remains valid until Sunday at 2pm. Guided walking tours require advance reservation at the tourist office, and some attractions may have limited availability or closing days. You must validate your card on transport readers during every journey, including transfers.
