I have practiced Kendo from the first year of elementary school until I was 25 years old. I would like to use that experience to spread the word to people all over the world. I also hope to have fun interacting with everyone, grow as a person, and enjoy life.
The experience begins with etiquette, the most important teaching in kendo, and then moves on to learning posture, swings, and basic techniques. You'll then practice on the ground and practice in a match format.
After the match, there will be time for exchanging opinions and impressions, as well as taking photos. One of our special features is that at the end, you can wash off the sweat and refresh yourself in our bathing facilities. There are world-famous tourist spots near the Budokan, so you can experience Japanese culture even in between sightseeing.
The spiritual teachings of kendo. We will provide thorough instruction that is easy to understand even for beginners. Basic etiquette and kendo fundamentals, wearing protective gear, how to grip a bamboo sword, etc. Swinging, technique practice, randori. Matches between participants. Question and answer session after the experience. Participants can share their impressions and take photos. After the experience, you can wash off the sweat in the bathing facilities. Rest areas and a cafeteria are also available.
An instructor wearing a karate uniform will be waiting at the meeting point.
