This guided walk through the old town, starting at the historic Holy Spirit Church, takes you past heritage houses over 500 years old, some still lived in by the same families, through the Old Market's daily rhythm, and into small local cafes and bakeries most tourists never find. Your guide shares the real stories behind Margao's architecture, the layered Goan, Portuguese and Konkani influences that shaped the town, and the quiet, unhurried susegad pace of life that defines this part of Goa. Expect a stop for chai and local snacks along the way, and a guide who adjusts the walk to what you're curious about, whether that's photography, food, history or simply wandering. This is a small group experience (max 10, all ages welcome), led by local ambassadors who treat the walk like showing an old friend around rather than reciting a script.
The Ambassador will be opposite the Holy Spirit Church, Near the Stairs.
