Your experience

Here’s what’s in store for your full-day tour of Batu Caves and Colmar Tropicale with your English-speaking driver-guide.

Getting started

You'll be picked up from your hotel in an AC vehicle and taken to Batu Caves.

What to expect

• Batu Caves: a significant Hindu shrine site dating back to the 1890s. These limestone caves, estimated to be 400 million years old, house several important Hindu temples. The site's main attraction is the Temple Cave, reached by climbing the rainbow-colored staircase of 272 steps. The cave's natural limestone formations create an impressive backdrop for the Hindu shrines within.

• Bukit Tinggi: offers an unexpected blend of Asian and European influences nestled in Malaysia's tropical landscape. Located about an hour from Kuala Lumpur, this highland destination sits 2,500 feet above sea level, providing a refreshing escape from the city's warmth.

• The Japanese Village recreates authentic Japanese architecture and garden design. See rock pools, koi ponds, and a traditional tea house that hosts tea ceremonies. Go for a stroll in the walking trails through the surrounding rainforest, home to diverse bird species and offering valley views at various lookout points.

• Colmar Tropicale: presents an unexpected sight - a French medieval village in the Malaysian highlands. Stroll through cobbled streets lined with quaint French cafes, art galleries, and charming boutique shops for a feel of France without having to take a 13-hour flight.
