Tour Kuala Lumpur City and Batu Caves with the option to select a half-day or full-day tour, either private or shared—ideal for those looking to discover the highlights of KL in a single day.

Your experience

Here’s what’s in store for your half-day or full-day tour of Kuala Lumpur City and Batu Caves on a shared or private tour. Malaysia is a vibrant blend of diverse ethnicities and cultures, shaped by a history of European colonization. Traces of this colonial past are still evident in the capital, where old colonial structures can be seen standing alongside skyscrapers and contemporary architecture.

Getting started

You'll be picked up from your hotel in an AC vehicle and taken to Batu Caves.

What to expect

• Batu Caves: home to Malaysia’s most visited Hindu shrine, built in honor of Shiva’s son, Lord Murugan. The caves are known for their limestone rocks, which are over 400 million years old. The temple's crowning glory is the 140-foot-tall Murugan Statue, the largest statue of a deity in the world.

• Istana Negara: This grand palace serves as the official residence of the King of Malaysia. Visitors can admire the imposing golden domes, majestic gates, and royal guards stationed at the entrance.

• Next visit the National Mosque, a stunning symbol of Malaysia's Islamic heritage, and see the historic Kuala Lumpur Railway Station that dates back to 1886.

• Stop by Merdeka Square, known as Independence Square, this is where Malaysia declared independence from British rule on August 31, 1957.

• Take a pit stop at River of Life, a beautifully revitalized waterfront, perfect for a scenic walk along the river.

Extras

No trip to Kuala Lumpur is complete without seeing the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. Opt for a private full-day tour to include entry and take in the breathtaking city views. Standing at a jaw-dropping 88 stories, these modern marvels are a testament to Malaysia's progress.
