Canyoning Adventure in Ribeira da Salga (Sao Miguel - Azores)

Upon arrival at the site, we will distribute the necessary equipment and then begin a 15-minute hike to the entrance of the stream, where the first safety briefing will be conducted. Throughout the route, you will have the opportunity to perform optional jumps ranging from 2 to 6 meters in height, as well as rappels varying between 4 and 20 meters. Before each rappel, our guides will provide a practical demonstration to ensure everyone feels prepared and confident for the experience. The adventure ends with a 20-minute ascent back to the starting point, offering an unforgettable journey through the stunning nature of São Miguel. NOTE: – The exact itinerary including jumps, abseils and other techniques will depend on local conditions and seasons. The terrain, landscape and flow of the stream normally change throughout the year.
