Beach Treasure Hunt & Jewelry Workshop! Tybee Island

First, we will take about 20 minutes beach walk looking for treasure to make jewelry, such as pieces of shells, whole shells, bits or whatever interesting catches your eye. You may even find a sharks tooth! You may also bring pieces of your own as we will be wire wrapping in gold and silver colored wire. We will also have on hand samples in different varieties of chain and cord to use. After our walk, we take a short drive or possibly walk to the workshop venue. You will learn basic wire wrapping skills in a fun and productive way as we make up to three items for each person and plenty of shells to take with you to create more later. We also have a little turtle design for our young students! We will go rain or shine so come prepared but if storms are happening we will wait or continue with the workshop with shells and stones we have on hand or what you bring!
