This tour combines a standard walking tour of Split with tastings of local food products. In just a few hours, you understand the city’s history, culture, daily life, and gastronomy.
Participants visit the local Green Market (Pazar), where they sample regional products available from market vendors. The tour then continues through the city centre, with stops for burek and fritule in long-established, locally owned businesses.
While walking through the historic centre, including Diocletian's Palace, the guide provides information about the history of the city, as well as an overview of local gastronomy and everyday eating habits in Split.
The focus of the tour is to present the historical development of the city alongside commonly consumed local foods in their typical urban context.
