It is near the Arenal Volcano, San Jose and Caribbean with more than 45 continuous, class-3-4 rapids along more than 14 miles of lush, vibrant Costa Rica rain forest. The meeting point for this tour is the Sarapiqui Outdoor Center in La Virgen de Sarapiqui. After checking in, you will take a short van ride to the town of San Miguel de Sarapiqui, where the Class 3/4 section begins. Once you get to the Sarapiquí River, your experienced and certified rafting guide will give you thorough safety instructions, get you set up with top-quality adventure gear such as your helmet, personal flotation device, and paddle and then you're off – you'll be paddling for more than 2 hours! The highly qualified guides make a difference in this labyrinth of rocks, holes, and waves.
