Astro Tour: Witness some of the darkest night skies in the world! You will be in disbelief as you see the illuminated Milky Way Galaxy stretch across the entire sky, horizon to horizon. The silence of the night is extremely special that not many people get to experience. You will feel small among the towering hoodoos that make up the park.
Our main goal for each tour is to build upon your current skill set so that, by the end of each tour, you are more confident and capable than before. Astro Tour: I will pick you up 1-hour after sunset. We'll walk into the interior Bryce Canyon National Park to place the hoodoos high in the night sky and photograph the Milky Way Galaxy. We'll walk to multiple locations for a variety of compositions. You will learn a lot about your camera, settings, compositions and more. This tour lasts for three hours. - The hike to our astro locations is approximately 0.5 miles each way, with about 235 feet of elevation gain and loss. In total, this is a 1-mile hike with 235 feet of elevation change. If this presents any concerns, please let me know before booking. Sunrise Photo Tour: I will pick you up 1 hour before sunrise. We'll photograph from a variety of vantage points along the rim of Bryce Canyon National Park for a wide range of photographs, compositions and experiences. During this tour, you will get expert feedback on your camera settings, compositions and more. This tour will last approximately 3 hours.
