3 Days Guided Manu Jungle Tour from Cusco

We will commence with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We will embark on an adventure from the Andes to the Amazon in our private transportation.

Our first destination will be the traditional Andean town of Paucartambo, where our guide will enlighten you about its preserved culture and traditions.

Following this, our journey continues towards the scenic viewpoint of Tres Cruces. Positioned at an elevation of 3900 meters (or 12795 feet), this location offers an astonishing panorama of the Amazon basin.

A brief exploration here will reveal the Peruvian National Bird, the Andean cock of the rock. Our next intriguing stop is the Santa Cruz Port. Here, we will transport you to our exclusively owned family establishment, the Treehouse INN.

Upon reaching, our team greets you with warmth and a customary local meal for lunch.

Post lunch, we will initiate with a trek. During this expedition, you will discover a variety of regional plants and bird species.

Our destination is the Macaw Clay Lick, just a short ride away. It’s crucial to be there early to catch the birds’ unique activity.

Upon arrival, you will witness hundreds of vibrantly colored parrots and Macaws. They flock to the clay cliffs to consume its mineral-rich clay. This clay aids in flushing toxins from their bodies. Our guide will explain the details of various bird species. You will have ample time to appreciate this extraordinary spectacle. Once satisfied, we will return to the lodge for breakfast.

Post-breakfast, we’re off for a hike on an exclusive trail. Expect to encounter more native birds, flora, and fauna during this expedition. By lunchtime, we’ll head back to the lodge. We will serve a traditional Amazon Peru lunch. After refueling, we plan to spend the afternoon river tubing in the Palotoa’s crystal clear waters. As evening sets in, we will visit a local indigenous community. You’ll gain firsthand insights into the lifestyle and culture of Amazon’s native inhabitants. As the Amazon sunset paints the sky, we will return to the lodge. The evening concludes with a campfire dinner, creating a cozy end to an adventurous day.

Following a rejuvenating break, our afternoon will be filled with the exhilarating activity of river tubing in the pristine, crystal-clear waters of Palotoa. As the sun begins to set, we'll have the privilege of visiting a local indigenous community, where you'll have a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the captivating lifestyle and culture of the Amazon's native inhabitants.

After breakfast, we will go back to our initial departure point, the Santa Cruz pier.

Our driver will be stationed at the Santa Cruz pier. From this point, we will commence our journey back to Cusco by road, traversing the breathtaking cloud forests and the charming town of Paucartambo.

Our Manu Tours Peru will culminate upon our arrival in Cusco. We anticipate reaching the city around 06:00 PM. This marks the termination of an unforgettable expedition through the Manu National Park.
