Backwash Surf Morocco offers a custom approach to your surfing. It's a personalised session only focusing on YOU. We adapt our advices depending on your strengths and weaknesses. We can change surfing spots to challenge you if that's what you want.

Everyone visiting Imsouane want to surf the Magic Bay, known as the longest wave in Morocco. Longboarders Paradise, it's fun yet safe. It also works for shorboarders from fall to winter as the swell gets bigger. There are usually 3 peaks there, so we'll move in the water depending on your level. - If you're intermediate, there is also another spot nearby called cathedral. - If you're advanced, we'll give you the keys to improve your technique, style, and manoeuvres. Shortboard is our special expertise, our coach is a professional gold medalist in the discipline, so he'll know how to make you grow.

We all share the love, passion and respect for the ocean. We hope to share it with you while teaching and surfing by your side.

Every coach believes in your abilities to improve your surfing and will guide you through it
We'll spend the first session with you in the water, spotting your strengths, style, weaknesses and the kind of wave you need to learn/train with. If you want we'll give you material and equipment advices. For the next sessions sometimes we'll be in the water with you, other times outside watching, filming, and advising you from the coast via talky-walky. At the end of every session we'll debrief what you did well, the missed opportunities, and what you need to strenghen. If we were coaching you from the coast, we'll analyse the pictures and videos of your session together. Based on your practice and performance, we'll give you exercises to do at home to train your body and enhance some movements for your next ride.

By default we meet at the port light house next to Jolo restaurant. We'll likely surf at the Magic Bay or Cathedral, if the conditions match your level. Other times we'll take the car and chase some waves. Please, make sure to contact us ahead of the meeting so we confirm the meeting point :)
