We will visit the Folklore Museum here, and you will learn about the history of the village and meet the unique handcrafted embroideries made by local women. We will go around the beautiful small footpaths of Karya and get some pictures with a remarkable view. If you want to have lunch here, it is highly recommended to have lunch at the most beautiful village square on the island. Huge plane trees make the perfect natural shadow to enjoy your meal or ouzo with meze. The quality of food is excellent, made out of local products and traditional recipes. The prices are extremely low comparing to the seaside. Please bear in mind that the entrance fee to the Museum of Karya is 2.5 EUR per person.

It is a small village really close to the top of the mountain. The village consists of a few permanents. The scenery is amazing for pictures: old houses, traditional atmosphere, and a small picturesque square right in the middle where we can relax having a beverage. After the village we will visit the "moon-like" area and the abandoned US Airforce Camp with huge antennas. The view is magnificent here! You will have a chance to see the white and blue stunning Church of Prophet Ilias closeby, with an amazing view to the south-east part of the island. Above all we will pass many unnamed spots and attractions of the island, that are not listed on the map- you will have chance to stop and explore the area anytime you desire.
