Fuji Five Lake region, located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals
Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine stands in a dense forest and is set off from the road by a long approach lined by stone lanterns and shaded by tall cedar trees. The shrine's red-painted buildings include a main hall dating from 1615, a dancing stage, and a few auxiliary buildings.
It enshrines the god of the Kai province (current Yamanashi prefecture) area. Inside the shrine grounds are 650 cherry blossom trees that bloom every spring. Visit the park located in the shrine for a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji and the goju no to the five-storied Churito pagoda. In the spring, you can see Mount Fuji and the cherry blossoms all in one view.

A park with a superb view of lake and Mt.Fuji at once. Various flowers bloom on the promenade along the lakeside according to the season. The park is also famous for its charcoal cone soft serves(ice cream) and small Mount Fuji replica made of 256 volcanic rocks.
Once you enter the cave, it is pleasantly cool even in summer, with an average temperature of 3℃. In the course, one can see lava shelves, rope-like lava, and ice pillars that do not melt even in summer.
