Food Tour on a Bicycle Old Town, Suburbs and Hidden Gems

You will watch and listen the vendors trying to sell their products,see the looks and feel the aromas of the fresh fruit/vegetables and try some of them. After riding through the market,we will visit a local bakery for a traditional breakfast of homemade cheese pie,spinach pie and bougatsa accompanied by,what else, greek coffee.

s such as the Old Fortress,the Esplanade square,the Liston and ride towards Mon Repos. On our return from Mon Repos,we will try some of the local specialities such as tsigareli,pastitsado,sofrito and of course the famous kumquat in all shapes and forms.

the Mon Repos Palace,where Prince Phillip of Great Britain was born in. We will ride through the luch gardens of the estate and admire from outside the once"Palace",nowdays a museum for the ex royal Greek family.

We will visit one of the oldest churches on the island and take a break at the windmill(Anemomilos) from where the neighborhood was named after. At a small cafe by the sea we will enjoy a traditional refreshement while admiring the view of the Old Fortress and the Garitsa bay.

We will ride through the town hall square,admire the catholic cathedral (Duomo) and stroll around the narrow alleys of the town.
