Gazi Husrev-Bey's mosque was build in 1530/31 in Early Istanbul style and it is the central building of Gazy Husrev-bey's waqf (charitable foundation). Dome of the mosque is 23m high and minaret is 45m. The largest historical mosque in B&H and it is the first mosque in the world to be illuminated by electricity.

Morica Han (caravanserai) was originally built in 1551 and belongs to Gazi Husrev-bey's endowment (wakf). It burned down 1957 and it was restored 1971-74. It had 44 guest rooms accommodation up to 300 people and 70 horses. Morica Han is the only surviving caravanserai in Sarajevo.

The Sebilj is Neo-Ottoman stone-and-wood fountain in the center of Bascarsia. The first Sebilj was built by Mehmed Pasa Kukavica in 1753 but it was relocated by Austrian architect Alexander Wittek in 1891. Location around Sebilj is also called "Square of Pigeons".
