This itinerary allows you to experience the rainforest during its most vibrant moments of the day, when biological activity is at its peak and immersion is total. Additionally, we operate under responsible ecotourism principles, collaborating with local communities and promoting practices that protect biodiversity and the authenticity of the destination.
You will board a shared boat from Drake Bay to Sirena Ranger Station. After a brief orientation, you’ll begin a guided hike through the tropical rainforest with a certified naturalist guide, learning about ecosystems, wildlife behavior, adaptations, and conservation efforts. After lunch and a short rest at the station, you’ll continue exploring additional trails in search of increased biological activity. In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night in authorized bunk beds inside the station, surrounded by the characteristic sounds of the rainforest. Day 2 – Morning Activity At sunrise, you’ll join an early hike to observe peak wildlife activity. After breakfast, you’ll head back to the trails before boarding the boat returning to Drake Bay around midday. Estimated arrival is approximately 2:00 p.m., depending on tides and field conditions. This experience offers a deep immersion in a remote environment, allowing you to connect with nature in a responsible and respectful way. Note: Times and activities may vary depending on weather, tides, and park regulations.
The meeting point is Playa Colorada, in Drake Bay. ⏰ Departure is at 6:00 a.m. We recommend that visitors arrive at least 10 minutes in advance.
