Your journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel as you make your way to the famous 17th-century temple of Taman Ayun in Mengwi Village. Located just about 18 km to the west of Denpasar, the temple is true to its name (Taman Ayun stands for ‘temple in a beautiful garden’) and is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Break for lunch here and continue onwards to the Ulun Danu Temple, a picturesque landmark and significant temple complex located on the shores of the Beratan Lake in Bedugul. Next, head to the stunning green rice terraces of Jatiluwih, a famous tourist spot in western Bali.
