5 Days Desert Trekking from Marrakech

ss the high Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass (2260 m) the highest road lane in Morocco offers wonderful panoramic views of the mountains and valleys with a wonderful path, beautiful scenery in different colors and barbarian villages along the way. Many Kasbahs visit along the way, including Tamnougalte and Ait Benhaddou. Ait Benhaddou is considered one of the best Kasbahs in Morocco, which is the UNESCO site in the 16th century. A popular site for Hollywood movies, the journey continues through the Draa river valley lined with palm trees. Arrive at Zagora, the capital of dates. After that, continue towards gateSahara Desert Mhamid. Dinner and night at the camp in the nomadic standard camp.

We will head to the Palm Grove. Tea and lunch will be served in the shade of Tamaris. After some rest, we continue our trekking to the sanctuary of Sidi Naji. The legend says that the marabout lived here. It's a place full of history and local custom. After the visit to the sanctuary we set the bivouac at the foot of the sand dunes. Free time until the dinner. Star bath and the silence of the desert guaranteed.

After approximately 4 hours of walking you will see the beautiful golden dunes and the mountains expanding. We are close to the Algerian border. We set the camp and meet by the campfire. Free time.

We pass by the town of Lahdybat, where we will have lunch. The road is full of tamarisk trees. Here we are surrounded by the beautiful Daraa Valley. We spend the last night in the desert, filled with wild beauty and silence.
