This 2-day guided hiking tour starting from Lijiang takes you to one of the world's deepest gorges in Yunnan. At 07:30 am, meet your tour guide & driver at the south gate of Lijiang Ancient Town. Next travel to Qiaotou Town. On the way, stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the First Bend of Yangtze River in the distance. Arriving at Qiaotou Town, you will hike about 2.5 hours from the Qiaotou Elementary School to visit a traditional Naxi Family in Nuoyu Village for lunch and rest.

Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia)
100 km NW of Lijiang, Hutiaoxia Town, Shangri-La County, China
In the afternoon, continue hiking about 1.5 hours to the 28 Zigzag Turns Trail. Enjoy a wonderful view of the upper part of Tiger Leaping Gorge from the 28 Turns Trail. After that, hike about 1 hour to Tea & Horse Guesthouse where you will stay overnight.

Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia)
100 km NW of Lijiang, Hutiaoxia Town, Shangri-La County, China
After breakfast, hike 1 hour to Bendiwan Village and take a relaxing break at the Half-Way Guesthouse. Hike along a small scenic trail to the lovely Guanyin Waterfall, then arrive at Tina’s Hostel by mid-day. After that, trek from Tina’s Guesthouse down to the Middle Rapids via Teacher Zhang’s Guesthouse. Then you will trek from Thin Strip of Sky to Walnut Grove Garden. Walk back to Tina’s Guesthouse. At 3:30 pm, travel by bus back to Lijiang or Shangri-la. Drop off at the South Gate of Lijiang Old Town or in Shangri-la at Moonshine Square. Tour ends.
