We will drive you directly to the town of Pintag, where you will start to ascend up to "Antisana Reserve".
portunities to find interesting wildlife such as: black-chested buzzard eagles, carunculated caracaras, giant hummingbirds, and of course, the majestic Andean condors, considered the largest flying birds of the world, and one of the rarest bird species that has possibly survived since the era of the mega beasts (10.000 years aprox.)! You will walk also towards the Mica Lagoon (4.050 m - 13,287 ft), result of the end of the last ice age, to get a better view of Antisana volcano and to observe water bird species such as: Andean gulls, Andean lapwings, Andean coots, Andean teals, and black-faces ibis, which curiously live in Chile and only in the Antisana Volcano in Ecuador! Then we will descend to the Isco canyon, where condors nest! After enjoying more views of these huge fabulous birds, you will have a typical meal at a local restaurant.

we continue with our spirit of adventure visiting specific birds' leks where you could find approximately 15 different species of hummingbirds, 2 species of flower piercers, 1 specie of jay, 2 species of ducks, etc. You will be back in Quito approximately at 4:30 p.m.
